This is where I spent a couple of wonderful days in June, 2010. A nice cramped little tent that hadn't been caught out in the rain in years. Yes, it leaked. Notice that there are plenty of guitars, chairs and coolers. I got up there about 10:30 AM on Friday and helped set up all that I could. The format for the weekend was fabulous, the food was beyond belief and the adult beverages where plentiful. I feel extremely fortunate that a few years ago I was invited to this unbelievable fest. The first time I ever got on a stage and played a song was on this stage. I greatly appreciate the Rural Grit Allstars for putting up with me, they are all accomplished, excellent musicians. I'm not. However, if I keep listening to them and practicing, I may make the B+ team. Tickfest has been one of the greatest adventures in my life. Hate to see it go.
